The Bible is full to the brim
with declarations that can increase hope in your life. Here is a list of
declarations and the verses they are based upon, all listed in the ESV version. Meditate on these verses and declare the truths when you need to find hope in your life.
I feel secure in the hope God
gives me.
And you will feel secure, because there is hope; you will look around and take your rest in security. Job
11:18
Hope will sprout again for me,
even when I feel cut down.
For there is hope
for a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again, and that its shoots
will not cease. Job 14:7
I place my hope in God’s
steadfast love.
Let your steadfast love, O Lord, be upon us, even as we hope in you. Psalm 33:22
I wait peacefully on God because
my hope is in Him.
And now, O Lord, for what do I wait? My hope is in you. Psalm 39:7
When I feel turmoil, I will hope
in God, who grants me salvation.
Why are you cast down, O my soul, and why are you in turmoil
within me? Hope in God; for I
shall again praise him, my salvation. Psalm 42:5
My soul will wait in peaceful
silence because I hope in the Lord.
For God alone, O my soul, wait in silence, for my hope is from him. Psalm 62:5
My hope is continuous.
But I will hope
continually and will praise you yet more and more. Psalm 71:14
I hope in God’s Word, which
protects me.
You are my hiding place and my shield; I hope in your word. Psalm 119:114
I hope in my Redeemer.
O Israel, hope in the Lord! For with the Lord there is steadfast love, and with him is plentiful redemption. Psalm 130:7
My hope is in the Lord, who gives
me all I need.
“The Lord
is my portion,” says my soul, “therefore I will hope in him.” Lamentations 3:24
