A passionate prayer life.
That is one of my deepest desires in life. A prayer life that is not one sided - I need to quiet myself and listen to God. A prayer life that truly purifies my heart.
In her book Purify My Heart: A Dialogue with Jesus, Isabelle Joye openly shares her journey to purifying her heart. She shares her prayers to God, and what she senses He is saying to her. This dialogue she is having with God is such a beautiful reminder that prayer isn't about talking to God, it is about talking with God.
Isabelle prays about things like money, busyness, forgiveness, ministry, her thoughts, obedience, happiness, the Second Coming, and much more. After each chapter, she asks a question and gives journal space so we can write our own thoughts and prayers.
This book is beautiful! Purify My Heart: A Dialogue with Jesus is a book for any woman wanting to learn about dialogue with Jesus.
