Christ Jesus for good works, which God
prepared ahead of time for us to do.
As I read that verse in Ephesians, four words stuck out to me: prepared ahead of time. I've read the verse many, many times before, but those four little words popped this time around.
We were created for good works, works that He prepared for us ahead of time. He knew who we would be. He knew what our lives would hold. He created and prepared a path for us.
Sister, God has a plan for your life. He created you, He knows you, He loves you, He has a plan for you. His plan for you is unique and fulfilling. His plan will glorify His name.
When life makes no sense, when you are feeling useless, when you wonder what your purpose is, when you struggle to feel like you matter, remember Ephesians 2:10. Remember that you are the workmanship of God, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared ahead of time for you.
What a blessing to remember that God prepared a ministry and purpose for us long before we knew Him.
