We've all been there. We know we are supposed to read the Bible. We want to read the Bible. But lack of time, energy, motivation, understanding, knowledge, and even confidence get in the way and rob us of what God has for us within the pages of His Word.
Brittany Ann, author and founder of Equipping Godly Women, says "What if we truly enjoyed and looked forward to time in the Word each day?" In her new book, Fall in Love with God’s Word, she helps us do exactly this!
Brittany takes a “how to” approach to help you:
-Overcome seven common obstacles preventing you from spending time in Scripture
-Determine the personalized Bible-reading outline that works best for you
-Learn fifteen easy ways to make Bible reading more meaningful and enjoyable
-Use Scripture to conquer sin, false beliefs, and negative thought patterns
-Experience fresh spiritual growth and passion for God’s Word
Oh, I say all those words in the beginning of this post. Yes, I want to read God's Word regularly, to learn from it, to rededicate myself...on and on. I am sporadic yet actually doing better of late! Thanks for encouraging me this afternoon! I did not read the Bible today. Before bedtime!!
