If the whole body were an eye, where would the sense of
hearing be? If the whole body were an ear, where would the
sense of smell be? But in fact God has placed the parts in
the body, every one of them, just as he wanted them to be.
1 Corinthians 12:17-18
Today I simply want to remind you that you have purpose. You were created by God on purpose and for a purpose. Don't focus on what the world tells you to be, be who God made you to be.
You are important.
You matter.
You are special.
You are uniquely you.
God purposely didn't create us to all look alike, act alike, or sound alike. He created us differently. We all have story to tell, a job to do.
So sister, remember that you matter. Be you.
It's time for Share A Link Wednesday! Each Wednesday we invite you to leave a link to your latest blog post in the comments. We still desire to connect women of God with one another and encourage each other in Christ. So grab a cup of coffee or glass of sweet tea, sit back and visit a few blogs. Be encouraged and share your own stories.
Great reminder. We can so easily get sucked into the trap of thinking that we need to look like the world wants us to. However, we were made to be unique and to show the glory of God. This week I wrote about building a stronger friendship with your spouse. https://keepingthetiethatbinds.com/2020/11/30/4-ways-to-build-a-stronger-friendship-with-your-spouse/
ReplyDeleteNo matter how long we've been walking with the Lord, we need this reminder.
ReplyDeleteI wrote this week on an unexpected application of God being with us: https://barbaraleeharper.com/2020/11/29/god-with-us-2/.
