God's will for us is to give thanks. Period. It is right there in God's Word. Not only to give thanks, but to give thanks in everything.
That sink full of dishes...give thanks! Thanks for the food God gave you, the dishes to eat off of, and the water to wash the dishes.
That job that you are too tired to get up for...give thanks! Thanks for a job that provides for your family.
The pile of shoes by the front door...give thanks! Thanks for your family and the life they bring to your home.
The lines around your eyes...give thanks! Thanks for the laughter you've had that caused those lines.
The high gas or electric bill that will come this month...give thanks! Thanks for the gas that provides heat and the electric that provides lights.
We are to give God thanks in everything. Every situation can be turned into praise. Today I challenge you to find praise and gratitude in all things. Let's be women who give thanks in everything!
