Sometimes...

"13 No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is 

faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but

with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it."

1 Corinthians 10:13 NKJV

Sometimes we forget that God is on our side.  Sometimes we forget that Jesus suffered temptations.  Sometimes we forget that Jesus endured much pain when He was beaten before the Crucifixion.  Sometimes we are so full of pain and suffering we forget that God is there waiting for us.  Sometimes...

We need to remember this verse.  It tells us that our those things that tempt us are not unique to us.  It tells us that God is faithful and that He isn't just sitting up there in heaven twisting His handlebar mustache and laughing as He finds ways to tempt us.  He is there FOR us, to comfort us and to help us.  This verse offers the comfort that we can know God is with us and making an escape route for us.

When you feeling like the world is crashing in on you, remember this verse.  Trust in God to be making your way.  He is your comfort.  He is the One who has your back, your front, your side, your middle, your everything.  He will never leave you.  He will never forsake you.  There is no one person who is more important to Him than you!!!
