A Pile of Answers to Prayers

I read this quote by Billy Graham the other day.  It has so affected me that I can't get it out of my head.  I can't help wonder how many answers to prayers I haven't asked are there, just waiting for me to speak.  James 4:2 NIV tells us, "2...You do not have, because you do not ask God."  Ok, so I don't have something because I don't ask for it...thus, Heaven is full of answers to the prayers I don't ask. 

It sounds so simple and yet it's so profound.  God loves us so much that He already has the answers to our prayers; He's just waiting for us to voice them to Him.  I'm greedy when it comes to the things of God!  I don't know about you but I want EVERYTHING that He has for me.  I don't want one prayer answer left in Heaven because I didn't ask.  I don't want one blessing left unclaimed because I was too busy to receive it!  God has so much for us but we rarely, if ever, manage to receive it all.

Lord, help me to realize just who I am in You.  Help me to seek YOU in all I do.  Help me to receive every answer [that you have waiting for me] to every prayer I pray.  Help me to pray every prayer for which you already have an answer.
