Do you remember back when you were in grade school? There would be 2 teams to play a game and the 'captains' were supposed to choose their team, one by one. It was always heartbreaking to be the last one chosen! I remember a classmate that was always chosen last and I remember seeing her stand there with sad eyes just waiting. I remember hoping that there was an even number of players so that she would have to get picked, even if by default! There is no greater feeling that to be wanted; to be chosen!
Do you know that YOU have been chosen by God to be HIS? God desires us to see that He has brought us out of the darkness of sin and into the Light. We are to praise Him. Most importantly...HE HAS CALLED US!!! We are His chosen!
Today, I pray that you would know that you know that you know this deep down in your knower; that God has chosen YOU! You weren't the last one chosen. He chose YOU first, because He created you and loves you more than you will ever know!
