Not knowing what the future can hold be nerve-wracking.
It certainly is for me. I am currently a senior in college and I have no idea what the next year will hold. Sure, I'm busy filling out grad school applications, and have a general idea of what I would like to do. However, not knowing how it will happen, or, if what I want is really what God has planned for me, is enough to cause some moments of pretty high anxiety.
This is exactly what God tells us NOT to do.
"Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be discouraged, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand."
Isaiah 41:10 (NLT)

Isaiah 41:10 (NLT)
As women, I think we have a natural tendency to worry about anything and everything. This is exactly what we should not do. If we simply "let go and let God," as I am sure many of you have heard before, we allow ourselves to rest more freely in Him.
This can be seen as an act of worship, strengthening our faith in Him, as we trust the One who knows best to work out the problems in our lives.

"I am leaving you with a gift, peace of mind and of heart.
And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don't be troubled or afraid."
John 14:27 (NLT)

"Do not be troubled or afraid." I do not know about you, but for me, that sounds like a state of sheer bliss.
So I challenge you today to let go and stop worrying about all the uncertainties you have in your life. Give them all to God, then take a step back and see how He will work in your life.
"Give all your worries and cares to God, for He cares for you."
1 Peter 5:7 (NLT)

He cares for you! So let Him have the cares and concerns of your life!

Thanks for this post. I know this is definitely something I need to do, but I'm not sure how to do it. Any suggestions?
