I am a firm believer that every person needs to have their very own Bible. If you follow my blog, you will regularly see me talking about different Bibles and doing Bible giveaways. My husband and I keep a large amount of Bibles in his office at church. Any time someone comes to church and doesn't have their own Bible, we let them take one. It's such a beautiful thing to see a someone's eyes light up when they get to walk out with a Bible all to themselves.
Today I want to share with you a new Bible from Dr. David Jeremiah called Airship Genesis: Legendary Bible Adventure. This Bible is incredible! With characters and an interactive website with podcasts for your kids, your child will get to dig into God's Word in a new and adventurous way.
Dr. David Jeremiah, founder of Turning Point Ministries, loves sharing God's Word and said it's time that children have their own study Bible. Check out this recording of Dr. Jeremiah's live Facebook video where he talks about this new Bible.
If your child, or a child you know, doesn't have their own Bible, check out Airship Genesis: Legendary Bible Adventure.

We spend time daily on our devotions, praying about what we learned, and then discussing it. Sounds kinda easy but not always with a busy 6 yr old boy.
ReplyDeleteEvery morning we read a devotion, pray and have a discussion about God together. We homeschool so our curriculum is Bible-based. At night we read from the Bible, pray and discuss our day. Thank you for this giveaway.
ReplyDeleteWe do less teaching in our home, and really focus on leading by example. I sit down with my Bible and they are welcome to join me if they want to, but it's not required. They all have their own Bibles and know they can read them whenever they want. We have a lot of unstructured conversations about who God is or how He relates to situations in the moment. God isn't a lesson to us, but just part of our lives that we love and enjoy.
ReplyDeleteAll that said, I did buy devotional books for my girls for their birthdays. And I'm really hoping we can do them together. I don't know if it will work, but they are the ones who like to read their Bibles with me the most.
Daily devotions and loving them lots.
ReplyDeleteMy children are now grown & I am a Mimi. Much of our teaching was through discussion and sharing about our day, throughout our day. It was sharing Scripture that was applicable to where they were each day that I believe they came to love God and His Word for themselves. Thank you for the opportunity to hear about this Bible! I so enjoy David Jeremiah and his writing and teaching. Thank you!
