As I look back over the years I see so many ways that God has been faithful to me and my family. Sometimes, it happens just how we expect, and other times the results are nothing like we would of expected.
But you know what, the result in the end was always part of God's great plan. It may be a plan we don't understand yet, but one that will work out according to His will and in His perfect timing.
One of the ways that God has been faithful to us over the past month is through finding us a new house to live in. If some of you remember, I told a story a few weeks back of how we were searching for a new place to call home.
Now, the home pictured above is not our new house, but rather the one that I grew up in. There were many great memories made there, just like a now there will be many new memories made in the home that God picked out for us.
I'm excited for the move and how things will unfold over the next few weeks....moving is always an adventure.
As I look back over how everything unfolded I see that God was indeed in charge. He held our hand every step of the way, and guided us right to where we needed to be for this next chapter in our lives.
If you a facing uncertainty in your future I want to remind you that God is faithful. He will never let you down. He will always supply just what you need. Lean in deep to Him today and trust Him with whatever might be laying in your path. He is always faithful, He will never lead your side, trust Him as He guides your way.
Please take a moment to meditate over some beautiful scripture passages that declare that faithfulness of our Lord. Following is one of my favorite songs to listen to by Sara Groves called, "He's Always Been Faithful." I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I do.
"God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord."
- 1 Corinthians 1:9
"But you, O Lord, are a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness." - Psalm 86:15
"The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every
morning; great is your faithfulness."
- Lamentations 3:22-23
"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart."
- Jeremiah 29:11-13
"But the Lord is faithful. He will establish you and guard you against the evil one." - 2 Thessalonians 3:3

ReplyDeleteThank you so much for the link-up today.
ReplyDeleteI love this, Shari. God sure is faithful, and we can usually see it when we look back over our lives. It is too bad we so often forget when we are in the midst of difficulties or, as you pointed out, facing uncertainty in our future! Thanks for sharing your story and providing all of those verses as a reminder. Linking up with you today. :-)
ReplyDeleteIs He not so very beautiful in His faithfulness and love towards us?! I once thought He never saw me anywhere, nor heard my prayers, nor helped me out. BUT...I can look back and see His hand upon me and upon my life over and over again. Praising Him with you this day.
