"27 Then they came to Elim, where there were twelve springs
and seventy palm trees, and they camped there near the water."
Exodus 15:27
Last night in church, we discussed Exodus 15:22-27. God has freed the Israelites from Egypt and for 3 days they wandered the wilderness looking for water; all the while complaining! God told Moses to throw a tree in the water and that made the water sweet and consumable. Because of his obedience, God granted them, as the pastor put it last night, their WOW place!
Elim was full of springs and trees. It was the blessing God gave them because of their obedience. That spoke to my heart so much. The Israelites had to willingly let go of Egypt before God gave them their WOW place!
What is your Egypt? What are you holding on to that is keeping you from getting to your WOW place with God? When we are obedient to God and His ways, he will always be faithful and lead us to that WOW place! I encourage you this morning to let go of Egypt and listen to hear God's instruction. Be obedient and He will take you to that new place!!!
