It's Valentine's weekend. The message that we are bombarded with is that somewhere out there is a romance that will fully satisfy every longing of your heart. No wonder marriages fail at an alarming rate!
No spouse, no friend, no mentor, no church, no career and no hobby is going to completely satisfy you or fill up the space in your heart that only God is meant to fill. Growing in your relationship with God, becoming heart intimate with Him, and walking in the eternal plans and purposes that He has put within you, is the key to a satisfying life. He's your Mr. Right, your Perfect Soulmate, your only All in All.

ReplyDeleteThank you for reminding us of our One True Love this Valentine's Day.
Being filled up with His love helps take the pressure off of our human relationships, doesn't it?
DeleteGreat post. Definitely something I needed to be reminded of this Valentine's Day, while my husband is out golfing.
ReplyDeleteBrenda, that reminds me of Joyce Meyer and how she always talks about how upset she'd get at her husband and his golfing! I'm glad my post was timely for you, and I hope you and your husband had a nice Valentine's after his golf game.
