Am I a good manager of what God has given me?

"2 Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful."

According to Psalm 24:1 NIV, God, the creator of the world, is the owner of everything.  ["1 The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it;"]

God has given each of us possessions we call our own.  In reality, these possessions belong to Him and we are simply the managers of those things.  
A manager...a steward...the one who takes care of...

I encourage you to read the Parable of the Talents found in Matthew 25:14-30.  And then ask yourself which servant you are...the one with 10 talents, 2 talents or 1 talent.  See, God wants us to be faithful with what He gives us.  If we are faithful with little, He will give us the increase!!
