A Good-bye to Single Saturdays

Friends, something I struggle with is saying "no" or "not now" or "not in this season" or "good-bye". I honestly hate it because sincerely I want to do everything - especially when it comes to writing and serving online. I love it so much.

But for now God is calling me away from writing at Woman to Woman Ministries and the Single Saturdays monthly series. My blog for single women is growing, and I recently added a few contributors to it. Also, I started a more personal blog for the rest of my life that doesn't fit into singles ministry - mostly the marriage and motherhood stuff. Not to mention I have a busy two-year-old that I love dearly. As I've heard other wise women say, when you say "yes" to something you have to say "no" to something else.



This makes me quite frustrated and sad, however, my One Word for 2015 is discipline. This is my first assignment. I'm disciplining myself to be obedient and surrendered and answer to God instead of myself or others.

I have enjoyed serving on this writing team of AMAZING women over the past several months. We are all so blessed to have ministries like Woman to Woman to speak truth into our lives.

I pray that as Jenifer looks for someone to fill this position as the monthly writer for Single Saturdays, she will be filled God's leading and direction. I pray that the ministry of Woman to Woman to continues to grow globally, and more women are reached and hear the Good News of Jesus through these writers' words. Will you join me in praying for this ministry and team?
