Teaching Kids to Have a Heart for the World
As many of you know, my husband and I are preparing to move our family overseas as full time, career missionaries.
This is a huge transition and of course, we have taken big steps to make sure our girls understand the hows, whats, and whys of missions.
They are living it. experiencing it.
And so are many of you in different ways.
Maybe a missions trip with your church or a fund raising project for something in another country...
All of us are called to make sure that the gospel is preached to the ends of the earth.
And, as parents, that means making sure that our kids have that passion as well.
Some kids seem born with a compassionate worldview. Some kids naturally love to give. Some kids have a great burden to pray.
Some kids need a little help.
Sometimes, the whole family is learning what it means to have a heart for the world together.
On my blog this past week, I've dedicated 5 days to spreading the word, sharing information and helping families discover ways to increase their heart for the world around them.
4 guest bloggers, lots of topics, tons of information and numerous tips are compiled in one 5 day series to help families!
I'm thrilled with the results.
And I'd love to share the series with you!
