Recently I found a recipe floating around on Facebook and could not wait to share it with you! This looks so delicious and I am excited to make it this week.
Peach Dumplings
Ingredients:
2 whole large peaches (canned would work too)
2 8 oz cans crescent rolls
2 sticks butter
1-1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
cinnamon, to taste
1 12 oz can Mountain Dew
Peel and pit peaches. Cut both peaches into 8 slices. Roll each peach slice in a crescent roll. Place in a 9 x 13 buttered pan.
Melt butter, then add sugar and barely stir. Add vanilla, stir, and pour entire mixture over peaches. Pour Mountain Dew around the edges of the pan. Sprinkle with cinnamon and bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Serve with ice cream, and spoon some of the sweet sauces from the pan over the top.
Enjoy this delicious treat!

I can't stand Mountain Dew, so could you skip it or use say Sprite instead?
ReplyDeleteHeather, I was thinking the same thing. I am not a big Mountain Dew fan so I was going to try it with Sprite. I think it would be wonderful with the Sprite! Thanks for stopping in!
ReplyDeleteJenifer, This looks delicious. I'm about to do a big diet change (elimination really) to see what all these allergic reactions are coming from and if it is contributing to my illness. I might just have to sneak these in before I start.
