Last week Woman to Woman's first book, Living Out Titus 2, launched. We are so excited about this book. Mentorship and encouragement are something dear to our hearts. Living Out Titus 2 is a collaboration from the hearts of eight women as we seek to encourage women to live Titus 2 with mentoring.
The reason we wrote this book is because we continually heard from you dear women that you don't have mentors or that you don't know how to be mentors. We have had an overwhelming response to this book and we are excited to take it to the next step.
Living Out Titus 2 Mentoring Groups.
I went to my first women's Bible study group about five years ago. I have been addicted ever since! There is something so special about like-minded women coming together. If you all lived in my town you can bet we'd meet every week at my church or Panera Bread (oh yum!) for some time together to study God's Word. But we are scattered all over the place. (Which is really pretty awesome when you think about it, women all over the world connecting here in this little space of the internet.) So we are thrilled to begin Living Out Titus 2 Mentoring Groups in YOUR area.
Living Out Titus 2 Mentoring Groups will be 8 weeks long, there are 8 chapters. Read a chapter on your own, then come together and discuss the chapter. At the end of the 8 weeks you can partner up for mentoring among you. This will be a great way to get to know each other over a 2 month period of time and to find someone to mentor you as well as to become a mentor to someone else.
If you are interested in hosting a group:
Hosting a group is just that, hosting, not leading. So don't worry! There are two ways to do this.
1) Gather women in your church and host a Living Out Titus 2 Mentoring Group with your church. Have each of the ladies purchase their book then begin your group. To sign up to host a group for your church, click HERE. *For hosting a group, we would like to give you a copy of Living Out Titus 2. US residents can choose between ebook or print, outside US will receive ebook. Once we verify your information from the form, we will contact you.
2) Begin hosting a community Living Out Titus 2 Mentoring Group. This is a great way to connect with like-minded Godly women in your community! Location must be public, such as a library, coffee shop, restaurant, etc. This is an absolute must. We love you ladies and we plan to do everything we can to keep you safe. So no homes will be allowed. Fill out the form with your information. We will verify your information and group location and email you soon. Mentorship is so important. Too many times as women we think we are alone. We are told by the world that we have to be strong and independent. But the Word of God tells us that two are better than one and that we must sharpen each other. Mentoring is a great way to do that.
