"4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise;
give thanks to him and praise his name.
5 For the Lord is good and his love endures forever;
his faithfulness continues through all generations."
5 For the Lord is good and his love endures forever;
his faithfulness continues through all generations."
Psalm 100:4-5 NIV
Even when things don't go the way we want them to...we need to be praising God for His goodness and mercy. He loves us no matter what. He is faithful. He is worthy to be praised! I am blessed beyond measure by the mercies of God. No, everything in my life isn't all peaches and cream! I am in the midst of financial woes, I have health issues, I want to move. But even with all that God has provided. I am not out on the street begging. God has not left me. He hears my prayers and He answers. Sometimes I get a 'yes.' Sometimes I get a 'no.' Sometimes I get a 'not now.' But He always answers!!!
Yes, I will give thanks and praise to the Lord of Lords! Even when things aren't the way I want them to be...He deserves my praise!!!
What can you thank God for today? Has He told you no or not now as an answer to a prayer? We all know it is hard when we are told no. But remember, God sees the entire picture of our life and He knows what is best for us. Trust Him! All you need to do is praise Him!
Have a blessed day!
I am praising God for my hubby making me stay home and rest last night when I didn't feel good. And I am thankful for hot tea to soothe a sore throat.
