Fresh Homemade Lemonade anyone?! My husband loves lemonade so recently when I found this recipe to make it fresh from lemons instead of using the mix I decided to try it and was really pleased with the fresh flavor. Its quite simple to make and the perfect drink for a hot day, (those days are kinda past for this year but Pin it and keep it for next summer, or make it today like I did)
Here's what you do:
Take 2 lemons and cut the ends off and cut them in quarters. (Yes, leave the peelings on)
Put lemon quarters in blender with 2 c water and blend until chopped up pretty good.
Pour through strainer.
Add 2 c sugar and 1 gallon water.
Stir until sugar is dissolved.
Add some ice and serve.
Enjoy :)
If you don't want a full gallon, you can freeze the concentrate and use whenever you would like. I like having some left in the fridge so I can drink it whenever I get a Lemonade craving :)
***When life gives you lemons, make lemonade***
Sounds so refreshing!
