This is my first time to check in with all of you here on the blog! Jenifer did a fantastic job introducing me last week and it has been fun to get to know some of you over the past few days.
Today, I wanted to help you get to know me a little bit better before we start digging in to some of my favorite topics surrounding the family in the coming weeks!
First, I have to show you a video I made for you... I get asked ALL the time how to say my name. In fact, I get asked so often... I did a blog post a few years ago about how to say my name.
But, I made an updated video for you all...
Yep... Jen-A-Lee is how you say it.
Or, you can just call me Jen... that works too.
My sister calls me Gwen but you probably don't need to call me that. #wink #bigsisterrights
Here are a few things about me:
I love all things techy that make our lives as moms more connected and fun. Instagram and facebook being my favorite places to visit you each day.

I love purple.
I love the beach.
I absolutely love an amazing book. Yes... many big smiles come with a sweet new Christian fiction book to devour.
We are missionaries. And we travel a lot. It feels like we live in our van...
I'm from Michigan. Jeremy is from Iowa. We met and married in Missouri. Our girls were born in Ohio.
We children's pastored in Ohio for the past 12 years...
I've been blogging since 2008 and writing is one of my favorite past times... other than reading.
I have a T3i that I'm learning to use. In no way am I a professional... I'm still working my way past the Auto setting.
I will blog here about all things family... a little bit of what I've learned as a mom of 3 and a wife of 12 years.
My family is precious and I am privileged to share them with you here each week.

ReplyDeleteA phrase about my family...hmm....just yesterday my son was asked the same question in his school work. His answer? We are crazy! Lol. We like to laugh and have fun, though I don't think we do enough of it. We are a super busy ministry family with some baseball and volleyball thrown into the craziness. :)
yes, making a point to laugh is so important! Even for fun, funny families :)

(yes its true!- I was a child bride at age of 9) Two grown children, one son-in-law and a daughter in law to be (we hope) and the most beautiful grandson the world has ever known. Just saying. I was raised a redneck and enjoy all things outdoors. My daughter missed that gene and prefers the city, high fashion and fine dining. My son is a complete carbon copy of his grandfather. He lives in camo! We are all from Ohio. Go Bucks!
