Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your heart before him; God is a refuge for us. Psalm 62:8
"God is looking for imperfect men and women who have learned to walk in moment-by-moment dependence on the Holy Spirit. Christians who have come to terms with their inadequacies, fears, and failures. Believers who have become discontent with ‘surviving’ and have taken the time to investigate everything God has to offer in this life."- Charles Stanley
Life is not easy. Troubles can come out of no where and the wind can get knocked out of our sails faster than we every thought possible. When the waves are rough and the waters seem as if they will never cease we have two choices. We can worry and try to do things on our own, or we can choose to trust Him and walk with Him moment by moment.
God wants us to trust.
He wants us to get to the point of complete and utter surrender to Him. He wants us to trust Him no matter what the circumstance. There's so much life to be lived in Christ if we just give it all to Him. There's no need to be bound by the chains that satan tries to ensnare us with. When the lies of fear start to whisper in your ear, tell them to leave in Jesus name. In it's place whisper, "Trust. I choose to trust in you Father. Trust."
Doing it on our own doesn't work. Are you willing to come to the end of self and choose to walk with Christ today?

All for Him -
Amen. I think it is our first reaction to try to do it on our own. But we need to step aside and let God be God. We need to fully trust. Thank you for this reminder!
ReplyDeleteSometimes, one more step is all I can do. And yet, that is when God meets me. In the moment-by-moment encounters with His grace, His strength, and His peace.
