A time for everything

Life is full of seasons...things are constantly changing. If you're like me you don't do well with change. Or maybe you do? I surely don't. But God has brought this scripture to my memory many many times latley.

There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under the heavens:

² a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
³ a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
⁴ a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,
⁵ a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing,
⁶ a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,
⁷ a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,
⁸ a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace. Ecclesiastes 3:1-8

Is your marriage in trouble? It's just a season...it won't last...

Is your finances in trouble? It's just a season...it won't last

Are you utterly exhausted from a new baby? It's just a season...it surely won't last.

Do you have small children and they are constantly fighting with each other? It's just a season, this too shall pass.

Do you have older children that don't want to have anything to do with you? It's just a season!

Are you constantly at home with your children while your husband is at work or away? It's just a season, God says joy comes in the morning...look at the horizon for your morning!

Does God seem silent? It's just a season! Press in, pray more, read more, listen to worship music more than you ever have...the silence won't last forever if you choose to fight it!

Life is full of ups and downs, enjoy the ups to their fullest measure and pray through the downs. God sees you in this moment you're in. Reach out to Him and hang on....everything will be used for His

glory, His good. Take comfort knowing that even if He seems silent He's screaming for you and reaching for you above all the loudness in your life.

I want to let you in on something new God has for "Family Friday". My husband and I have been watching Courageous a lot latley (because there's nothing else on TV really, is there?) and God has really been speaking to me through this movie...my husband and I have had many a "growth moment" over this movie and stepping into the role God has for us as parents and husband and wife. I'm tired of living just day to day surviving. I want the blessings of God on our household too. That is why I've been doing some research and I came across the Resolution for Women. This is much like the movie Courageous only it's geared toward Women and our role as GOD sees it, not the world. Each Friday starting next week 6/1/2012 I'm going to go through a chapter of the book with you. I will have a give-away of this Bible Study some where in the study so be sure to read every Friday.
